Background

Block of parties arisen in the late '80s as a common front against the dictatorship of Pinochet, formed by the: PSC - Socialist Party of Chile, PRSD - Social Democrat Radical Party, PDC - Christian Democratic Party, PPD - Party for Democracy and minor groups, is the movement in the government from 1990 with four consecutive administrations.
