The town emblem was adopted on Nov 1st 1959 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana か Ka of Katsuragi. The circle stands for a friendship and a solidarity, the upper wings for an everlasting development and an unlimited surge.
